Bloodstock Open Air, the UK’s biggest and best independent Heavy Metal Festival, returns to Catton Hall, Derby for its eighth year (and 12th since Bloodstock’s inception) and promises to be the biggest and best yet.
Following the likes of Children of Bodom, Europe, In Flames, Nightwish, Opeth, Arch Enemy, Twisted Sister, Immortal and Motorhead, this year’s event is headlined by the legend that is Alice Cooper, along with the USA’s finest, Machine Head, and the explosive return of Behemoth. With more bands this year then ever before and still representing the most promising of the UK’s new talent, BOA as always is the festival to be at this summer.
I was there photoing once again…. so this is BOA 2012 as it happened, in pictures!
